| Dear Guests, Welcome to Inglenook Cottage c. 1603. Step back in time, relax and enjoy this magical 400 year old beamed Jacobean Coaching Inn. Set in a conservation area, next to St. Giles’ Church, on Pinfold Lane, which was once part of the original Great North Road built by the Romans. The cottage retains many original features, including two inglenook fireplaces and has been lovingly restored. It has antique period furnishings, vintage accessories and is presented as a little ‘living museum’. The cottage can sleep from one to six guests on a daily or weekly basis and is open all year round. It truly is a home from home. We hope you will enjoy your stay in historic Newark upon Trent. Follow in the footsteps of Dick Turpin and Lord Byron, step back in history, relax and enjoy one of the oldest buildings in the area.
